We are pleased to announce that Three Percent Earth will have an exhibit booth at the 10 th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD), where we will be promoting our recently peer-review published project study looking at for the need for a ‘systems-based’ approach to policy-based decision-making at the ‘macro-level’ as a way of working to reduce/prevent impact(s) and risk from agricultural, (and consumer-industrial) pollution consistent with the objective(s) of SDG 6, ‘Clean Water and Sanitation.’

Our exhibit will be displayed at the SDG Acceleration Pavilion, United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok between 27-30 March, 2023.

Hope to see you all there!

Three Percent Earth, in its campaign to raise awareness of the health and environmental impacts of widespread use of chemical farming pesticides published policy research in the Malaysian Journal of Sustainable Agriculture this October from an on-going project study. In our study we proceed to develop a novel (indexing) framework purposed to integrate consideration of concepts and measures of public health into agricultural policy-based decision-making. This September Three Percent Earth Foundation will be doing a presentation titled “Children’s Screening-Level Exposure Evaluation of Ambient PM2.5 Pollution: Policy Perspectives on Risk Reduction” at the poster session for the 18th International Conference of the Pacific Basin Consortium for Environment and Health in Kyoto, Japan.  This year’s conference focuses on existing and emerging risks and impacts from environmental exposures to people from birth to early life.

Pacific Basin Consortium is long-standing member-driven organisation whose aim is to promote technology and information exchange among governments, non-governmental bodies, academia, industry, and public citizenry for prioritising and solving the most pressing issues of ecological and human health for the Asia-Pacific region.

Three Percent Earth is very excited about this opportunity, and looks forward to seeing you at the conference this fall!
